eh idk what to say dude but it's addictive for a reason,,, like me n my bad coping mechanisms, it's a distraction to make my emotions shut up... I wish you the best,, I get it's tough out here,, js do what you gotta do to get by, okay?? There's always gonna be light at the end of the tunnel, n hope to heal n recover n get better <3,, You didn't always have to figure stuff out on your own,, if ya feel safe enough to seek support, by all means go ahead :) You're loveable, amazing,, precious n I'm proud you're still here,, it's okay to not be okay,,, whether it's tears or problems or anger, there will always be love out there for you ^_^<3 I wish you well in life n I hope you have a lovely day hehehd :D
Nicotine is addictive, and can temporarily numb emotional intesity and give you a quick sense of calm, that simply means when you vape, the nicotine makes you feel way less depressed or sad, basically it calms down your nervous system for a while. The hard part here is the quitting, when your brain starts to associate vaping with a feeling of calm, when you stop, your emotions can rush back even stronger for a while, and THAT is what can make it feel like vaping is the "only" thing that truly helps. So, there isnt a problem with you, its just as simple as your brain trying to protect you the quickest way it knows how, and thats how it works for basically every human. Quitting is obviously very difficult, you could try stuff like replacing it with whatever else you feel could help, thats one of the most effective solutions, trying to teach your brain to substitue it with another thing to help cope. But id recommend instead first try to reduce, not stop, stopping directly may be even more difficult, try to slowly reduce the total times you vape, day by day, until you've quit!
